KNEE DEEP // LYRICS

I envy the shallow
Paddling about in the safety of the knee deep water
Never out of my depth
Never holding my breath so shallow

Oh I wish I were a shallow one
Lying on my back in the comfort of the knee deep water
Never needing to go deep
Not a care for what’s beneath
So shallow

Easy days in the shallows
Easy days in the shallows
Easy days in the shallows
Easy fucking days

I don’t wanna dive this deep
I can see what’s underneath
I don’t wanna be this deep
Oh I wish I was shallow

I don’t wanna live down here
Everything is way to clear
Oh I don’t wanna be this deep
Oh I wish I was shallow
I just want be a shallow one

Splashing my friends in the comfort of the day
Warmed water
Never looking for more
Staying close to the shore
So shallow

Easy days in the shallows
Easy days in the shallows
Easy days in the shallows
Easy days
I don’t wanna be this deep
I can see what’s underneath
I dont wanna dive this deep
Oh I wish I was shallow

I don’t wanna live down here
Everything is way too clear
Oh I don’t wanna be this deep
Oh I wish I was shallow

Oh I wish I was shallow
Oh I wish I was shallow
Oh I wish I was shallow
Oh I wish I was shallow
