LYRICS
I was hangin at a party in the desert one night
When I looked across the room, I saw Shaun White
I’m like oh my god he is hot as fuck
And he just won the gold baby what is my luck
This was way back when I was losing my shit
But our stars were aligned playin mystery tricks
I keep thinking bout you its makin me sick
And that night in your car when we played just the tip

I’m older now
I’ve gotten help
I wish you could meet
My New Self

He asked where I lived and I said I dont know
I had already lost my mind, wallet and my phone
And the last time we spoke, you asked how I was
I said I was at a show for Courtney Love
And that i’d been thinkin bout killin myself
Then deleted your number embarrassed I felt
Im sorry for that maybe I was possessed
By Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain and the rest

I’m older now
I’ve gotten help
I wish you could meet
My New Self

You had the biggest energy that I have ever ever seen
Nothing compares to when our stars aligned and I was in your beam
Of light for that one night, our bodies started taken flight
In a galaxy far away, today i’d be misses white

I’m older now
I’ve gotten help
I wish you could meet
My New Self
